Mount Agios Dikaios or Ai Dikios rises south of the village Elos and at an altitude of 1180m it is the highest peak of Kissamos province. At the top of it is the church of Saint Dikeos. The church was erected in 1870 in honor of Job the righteous(celebr. May 6th - dikeos means righteous). At this point, which has a panoramic view of the provinces Selino and Kissamos, a German post was installed during the German Occupation of Crete in the Second World War.
The peak can be accessed through a dirt road from Elos, however there is also a signposted trail that starts from Elos, reaches Agios Dikeos peak (1180m), continues south to Tsounara peak (1101m) and descends to the village Moustakos. Initially the vegetation consists of chestnut trees and as it ascends it gives way to shrublands.
