Saint John church at Kounavi 
North of the village Kounavi in province Pediada we meet the church of Saint John the Baptist (Agios Ioannis Rigologos) dedicated to the Beheading of Saint John The Baptist and Forerunner (celebr. August 29). The church bears frescoes of the 14th century in relatively bad condition.
