Karavados Dam Lake
The small dam of Karavados is located 1km south of the village Karavados, next to the road leading from Skinias to Viannos. It is watered by the river Baritis, which is a tributary of the long Anapodaris river.
The dam was constructed in 1993 and has a capacity of 180,000 cubic meters. Because of its important position and the good preservation of the wetlands around Baritis river, the dam attracts many migratory birds.
