The church of Agios Nikolaos in Lambiotes is a small arched and one-roomed temple located at the entrance of the village. It is one of the many temples in the province of Amari dedicated to Saint Nicholas (Agios Nikolaos). Above the entrance there is a relief arch, where there was a hagiography of Saint Nicholas, and a cross of round colored ceramic plates (pinakia).
Its interior walls were painted with frescoes in the mid-15th century by a painter associated with the formation of the Cretan School of Hagiography. Hierarchs, deacons, and military saints are depicted in lower zones, scenes of the usual evangelical circle are depicted on the arch, and Abraham's Hospitality at the east drum.
