The Museum of Visual Arts in Heraklion is a private art museum located at Poros, above the port of Heraklion. It was founded in May 2000 by the architect Kostas Schizakis. Its activities include organizing educational seminars and lectures on artistic creation. It houses a permanent exhibition of artworks, mostly by artists of Crete.
