Xerokambi beach is located about 70 km southeast of Heraklion and belongs to the periphery of Kastri. Most visitors of the area are unaware of its existence, as they visit mainly the famous beach of Listis and the organized beaches of Kastri and Keratokambos. In Xerokambi there are mainly greenhouses for growing early vegetables and a few cottages.
Xerokambi is formed just east of the impressive rock of Listis and extends to the east to the serene beach Skouros. Here are some small beaches under cliffs, the most beautiful being the one that is right next to Listis, with its towering rock standing imposing and a small water spring on the beach (which usually dries up in the summer).
The beaches can be reached by walking along the beach from Skouros or descending to the sea, starting about 100m before the point where the visitors of Listis park their cars.
