Kallikovrechtis beach is located 19km west of Ierapetra and 4km east of the picturesque town of Myrtos and can be reached via asphalt road from Myrtos or Tertsa. The beach belongs to the periphery of the village of Ghodia and is formed at the exit of the Kalikovrechtis stream, formed between the summits of Kolechtos and Kako Oros, just at the point where the counties of Heraklion and Lassithi are separated.
There are only a few cottages in Kalikovrechtis, while the beach is totally undeveloped. It has lovely fine grayish pebble and the water is usually calm. One can enjoy shade below the few tamarisk trees, while due to the steep and high slopes the beach is shaded early in the afternoon. Access is very easy as the road that connects Tertsa with Myrtos passes right above the beach.
