Tertsa is a small village located 91km south of Iraklion and 54km southwest of Agios Nikolaos, between the village of Myrtos and Psari Forada. In front of the small settlement stretches a quiet beach with coarse gray sand. On the west end of the beach there is the rock of Psaroharako, with the homonym remote beach formed beyond this rock.Vourdolakos or Chlia is a remote beautiful beach with coarse gray sand formed behind the rock of Psaroharako and stretching west to Sidonia.
Actually, Vourdolakos consists of several consecutive bays, separated by short rocky parts, where one could snorkel. This long beach is generally unknown to visitors and, as expected, is not developed. It is suitable for absolute isolation, as there is nothing next to it, apart from some olive groves and several greenhouses that produce the unique banana of Crete. This is a fantastic beach with clear and usually calm waters.
