The church of Prophet Elijah (Profitis Ilias) is located north of the village of Skinias, in a small plateau next to the Venetian watchtower Gialou Kefalii. This was once the location of a small monastery, which is currently not occupied. This single-nave barrel-vaulted church has its entrance and a buttress facing south. The saddleback roofing of the dome made of overlapping slabs was common in churches in Mirabello in the years of the Venetian rule, and probably of the Ottoman rule.
On the west of the church survives a partially restored section of the monastery complex. The ruined section probably had two storeys. Annexed to the complex is a deserted oven, and near the complex there are two circular cisterns. However, the church and the buildings around it suggest that the monastery housed only a few monks.
