Saint Anthony Sfougaras at Selles
The monastery of Saint Anthony (Agios Antonios) Sfougaras is located at the village Selles at province Mirabelo and its temple was built in a cave above the lovely beach of Agios Antonios. Next to the cave temple there are more caves with their entrances closed by walls that probably were used as monk cells. The paved garden hosts a water cistern. The monastery was mentioned in documents of 1611 and was recorded in the census of 1635.
