The Holy Monastery of St. Anthony (Agios Antonios) is located at position Katevati, 6 km from the village Akoumia, at an altitude of 525m. To reach the monastery you must travel 15 minutes by car on a dirt road from Akoumia.
The monastery was built after the release from the Germans (1945) and was rebuilt by Theodosius Damvakerakis, who lived as a hermit in the area for about 50 years. Till 1974 the area housed a small chapel. Father Theodosius formed the current monastic complex with temples, monk cells, courtyard, and ancillary areas. The monastery is built on his property, at Katevati and houses the churches of Saint Anthony, Saint Nektarios and Panagia (Virgin Mary). In the church of Saint Nektarios, built last, there is a huge icon depicting all Saints. In the church of Panagia, built inside a rock, there is the icon "Unwithering Rose". The monastery celebrates on January 17.
