Sykiés Beach is located in a remote area west of Kavousi in Ierapetra, and just north of Agriomandra Beach. Above the beach stand a few fig trees, which reveal the presence of moisture in the ground.
Malavra is located 26km east of Agios Nikolaos and east of Tholos Beach. It is known for its abundant freshwater springs, which cloud the sea and, according to one version, gave Tholos its name.
The beaches of Legameni are located north of the village of Kavousi. These are two small coves, nestled among rocky formations, exuding a sense of complete tranquility and seclusion.
Fylakes beach is located in Agia Pelagia. It is a tiny bay with fine sand and green shallow waters, protected by the high and verdant cliffs of Souda.
Analipsi beach is located in the Makrygialos area, 58 km southeast of Agios Nikolaos and 23 km east of Ierapetra, in the periphery of the community of Pefki. It is located near the outlet of the stream that flows through the lush green gorge of Pefki.
Plisimo is located east of the settlement of Treis Ekklisies on the southern steep slopes of Asterousia, near the point where the inaccessible gorge of Mesosfini empties.
The tiny beach of Lygidi is located next to the seaside settlement of Kalo Nero, near the Kapsa Monastery, 68km southeast of Agios Nikolaos and 33km east of Ierapetra. It forms a natural boundary between the communities of Lithina and Perovolakia in the province of Sitia.
