The cave Drakolaki (or Drakoulaki) is a long underground river located on the southern slopes of the peak Thodoris at the White Mountains, at the upper part of the canyon Aradena. It is actually the starting point of one of the basic ravines that merge and form Aradena Gorge.
The cave has a length of 1900m and is richly decorated with stalagmites and stalactites, while it is very interesting to see the large quantities of sand. Part of the cave is accessible (the first 400m), but great care is needed when it rains. Locating the entrance is difficult, because it is very small and cannot be seen from distance. There are some piles of stones indicating the route to the place, starting from the village Agios Ioannis.
