A few meters south of the entrance of cave Chainospilios, we meet the cave Hamoto Spiliari (i.e. Low-roof cave), which has a length of 32 meters, a maximum width of 6 meters and a height of 6 meters. It is a very small cave, but it has its charm and deserves being explored!
The first part, which is easily accessible, is mainly inactive and its decoration that has suffered some damage. Small halls communicate with each other and give the impression of a small labyrinth. From the great room that we meet, there are several passages that give the impression that the cave continues in various directions. But these passages are either narrow or head to dead ends.
You might locate the one and only "rabbit hole" that leads deeper into the cave and in smaller rooms with increased water drop falls. The tunnel leads to a small hall, from where we access two small rooms on two different levels with gour (rimstone). In the upper room you will be impressed by the droplets on the wall which twinkle and create various shapes under the torch light!
