The rocky beach of Tripiti is located 5km east of Sougia and 68km south of Chania, at the ending point of the rough gorge of Trypiti. It has crystal blue water and is pebbly. It is absolutely secluded, as all the beaches of the wider Sfakia area.
One of the best beaches in Agia Roumeli is located on the east side of the settlement, beyond the river of Samaria gorge and below the ruins of ancient Tarra. Here beautiful rocky formations and cavities are formed at position Zeromouri, which have beautiful pebbly beaches in front of them.
Pirgos has two adjacent emerald sandy beaches, which are absolutely unorganized and isolated. Many campers prefer Pirgos for camping, as it is very far from any tourist infrastructure. The beaches are hidden in the heart of a large bay, surrounded by dunes and junipers and protected by steep cliffs.
The beach of Telonio (i..e Customs Office) starts east of the main pedestrian road of Kissamos and extends to the local stadium, about 1km eastern. Actually it is the westernmost part of the vast beach that starts from Kissamos and ends in Nopigia, several kilometers eastern.
The beach of Livadia starts 1km east of Kissamos, next to the town stadium, and ends at the beach of Korfalonas. It is a small, 2km long, part of the vast beach that runs from Kissamos and ends in the Cape Rodopos.
Koutelos is a calm, unorganized beach with large round pebbles, near the village Nomikiana. It is located about 9km east of Chora Sfakion, 4km west of Fragokastelo and 76km south of Chania.
The beach of Kalyviani is located 1km north of the homonym traditional village and 7km northwest of Kissamos, near the Peninsula of Gramvousa. It is a perfect choice for the visitors of the picturesque village of Kaliviani.
