The church of Christ the Savior is located in the lush location of Mesa Pandeli or Pano Pandeli, on the outskirts of the village Chandras in province Sitia, and is dedicated to the Transfiguration of the Savior.

Είναι κτισμένος στη θέση παλαιοχριστιανικού ναού, όπως φαίνεται από τα πολλά μαρμάρινα αρχιτεκτονικά μέλη που βρίσκονται εντοιχισμένα στους τοίχους ή υπάρχουν διάσπαρτα στο χώρο. .
Ο ναός του Αγίου Γεωργίου βρίσκεται στο κεντρικότερο σημείο του χωριού Μελισσουργάκι της επαρχίας Μυλοποτάμου. Παρόλο που εξωτερικά έχει υποστεί νεότερες παραρεμβάσεις κυρίως το 1902, στο εσωτερικό του διασώζει μερικά από τα στοιχεία της Ενετικής περιόδου, οπότε και κτίστηκε.
